I'm Joe Cera, and I am Cera's Waxes. I am a full time jeweler and model maker. I apprenticed under master jeweler Herman Gandara for 8 years in Chaparall, New Mexico. Along with over 13 years of wax carving experience, I also do repairs, set stones, and create pieces from scratch in silver, gold and platinum.

In my spare time I enjoy hand engraving guns and knives and making bits and spurs. I am also a certified horse farrier and an active team roper.

Recently I've taken on the role of teacher by sharing my knowledge and technique of wax carving by taking on students who wish to learn my unique style.
